Description of our French Courses Online

Our online french classes have been elaborated by the experienced professors of our french school based in Antibes. Classes are based on their methodological knowledge and teaching experience to ensure the same academic quality and support experienced in a physical classroom.

Whatever your level, your age, and the time you’re able to devote to learning the French language, our teachers will help you progress while making their lessons motivating and pleasant.

Our courses focus on practical communication, both written and oral, covering topics that are required in everyday life.

Lesson Content & Objectives

Courses focus is on oral communication. Our courses favor practical communication, both written and oral. 

Work on grammar, pronunciation, and familiarization or deepening of points relating to French life.

During the first lesson, the professor will invite students to download the school’s Grammar Guide.

 

Methodology

The professor is present during the entire session. It is she/he who will direct the session according to the methodological framework established by the pedagogical direction of our french school in Antibes. Depending on the level of the professor’s group, she/he will organize the sessions to work on skills related to the objectives set.
Each day, at the start of the session, the course objectives are presented by the professor. At the end of each session, the professor will provide feedback and students will also be able to share observations. A link to the next session is then presented and homework may be distributed to students.

Before the course begins

Level evaluation test & preparation for E-learning

The week before the course begins, students will complete our « Digital Assessment Test », as well as a « Student Questionnaire » in order to better identify their needs and expectations. The student must send us these documents no later than by 12 noon on Friday so that they can join the course on Monday morning.

Along with the Test and the Questionnaire, the student receives a « Guide for the student in e-learning » which explains how the sessions take place and how to quickly handle the ZOOM distance learning software. It is imperative that the student becomes familiar with the handling of the software by following the explanations in the Guide and the recommended tutorial.

Once the level of the student has been determined, the educational director places the student in the appropriate group under the guidance of a professor. This structure is the most appropriate educational approach of allocation of students into a program based on the profile of their group as well as the duration of learning.

Standard online French course

Duration: 10 hours 30 minutes or 14 lessons from Monday to Friday.

Timetable: 10:00 a.m. – 12:20 p.m with a 15-minute break. (UTC+1)
Afternoon classes available on request from 14:30 p.m. – 16:50 p.m.

Level: Beginner* to advanced

Small groups of 6/10 participants maximum for an elevated e-learning teaching experience and a

Price/week: 1 to 4 weeks: 220€      5 weeks and more: 180€

Except during the 2-week Christmas break from 19.12.2020 ► 04.01.2021

Intensive Options: Our French Standard Couse may be combined with the following:

Standard Course + Evening Course TOTAL 12 hours a week
Standard Course + Semi-Intensive + Evening Course TOTAL 16 hours a week

Semi-intensive course 4 week session minimum

Duration: 4 hours per week, 4-week session minimum

Timetable: Tuesday and Thursday from 5.15 pm – 7.25 pm with a 10-minute break (UTC+1)

Level: Beginner* to advanced

One-to-one classes

Duration: minimum of 2 hours (2x60mn) per week.

Level: Beginner to advanced

One-to-one course with 1 teacher or course with 2 students (of the same level) with 1 teacher to better take into account the specific needs expressed by the student with an optimization of the quality of teaching.

Price per 60 min session: 55 € (1 student x 1 teacher), 40 € (2 students x 1 teacher)
