The School

FRENCH LANGUAGE SCHOOL ON THE ATLANTIC COAST

Our French language school in Biarritz has more than 15 years of experience and is accredited by the French Ministry of Education.

The school offers a family atmosphere with a maximum capacity of 84 international students.

Courses are led by certified native French-speaking teachers.
10 min walk from the town centre and its beaches. A free shuttle service into town is available nearby.
A 1905 Basque house, entirely renovated and converted into classrooms with a lovely garden, free wi-fi & student lounge.
12 students maximum by class.

Program

FRENCH IMMERSION COURSES IN FRANCE FOR GOLF LOVERS

Our French language school in Biarritz, France offers French classes combined with 3 sessions of 2 hours of golf per week.

Every morning, students will have classes from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, Monday to Friday. The golf sessions will take place during the afternoons, at the International Training Center and Golf Course of Ilbarritz. It is suitable for beginners or experienced golfers.

International Training Center and Golf Course of Ilbarritz:

The Ilbarritz course is an impressive 9 holes course facing the ocean. It’s a par 32, with a 2,176 meters length period. It’s a very technical course set up as a practice run for the apprenticeship.

This unusual concept recreates all the game situations found on a real Golf Course around a circular practice course.

The various workstations of the training center allow complete training according to students’ aspirations or weaknesses. From the short game to full swing, on synthetic carpets or perfect grass, on flat or hilly ground, participants will be able to improve every single aspect of their game.

This spot is the place to be for high-level players, but it’s also ideal to make the first steps for beginners.

Sessions are supervised by a qualified golf instructor and the equipment is provided.

In the afternoon or evening, our French school organises activities for an additional price: rafting, sea kayaking, hiking, basque pelota, visits to museums and traditional villages, cooking classes, etc…

Accommodation

Accommodation is from the Sunday prior to the course start date until the Saturday after the end of the course (you can book extra nights).

Host Families

Our partner school offers accommodation in a host family.

We advise you to stay with a local host family. Through living with a family, you will experience a full immersion in the country’s lifestyle and improve your french.

Our local host families are vetted and chosen rigorously by our french language school partner in Biarritz. Most of them have been hosting for years. The location of their homes is an average of 20 minutes on foot from the school.

You have the choice between full or half board.

Accommodation is from the Sunday prior to the course start date until the Saturday after the end of the course (you can book an extra night).

You can choose this program without accommodation.
