French courses for Senior in Antibes

This language trip is specially designed for students over 50 who wish to improve their French while exploring the culture, gastronomy and landscapes of the Côte d’Azur.

Located between Cannes and Nice, Antibes is a typical city in the south of France. Encased by 16th-century ramparts, the historic old town is home to traditionl shops and attractive restaurants. The old buildings and ramparts standing over a steep drop into the Mediterranean Sea have attracted the eyes and brushes of many painters, including Pablo Picasso. 

With 300 days of sunshine a year and 6 miles of sandy beaches, Antibes is the ideal place to spend your holidays. 

With our special programme, you will have the opportunity to discover the best of the French Riviera while practising your french in our partner school. Monaco, Nice, food tasting, petanque initiation and more will be on your agenda!

Our partner school in Antibes has more than 30 years of experience and its quality is recognised by European EAQUALS accreditation and the French Government’s Qualité FLE label.

The teachers are all native speakers and are experienced in teaching French as a foreign language.

A unique experience: all-inclusive programme, within a small community of mature students willing to improve their French while discovering the culture, gastronomy and landscapes of the Côte d’Azur!

Classes take place Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 12:20 pm.

They are composed of 20 French courses focused on your written and spoken French to help you make progress, in a group of 6 students (max.) your own age. 

There are no lessons on the first Monday of your stay. You will take a written and oral french test in the morning to assess your language level and assign you to the right class. 

For the afternoons, our school in Antibes arranges a great programme of activities which are included in the cost of your course. The programme includes 3 activities each week and a full day excursion.

Typical activities include visits to the Picasso Museum, the perfumery at Grasse, Saint Paul de Vence, Monaco and Cannes, local food and wine tastings, practical cookery lessons and excursions to Nice or Aix-en-Provence.

The activity programme offered below can be subject to change.

You will stay in one of our school studios. They are a 20-minute walk from the school and 500 meters from the shops and beaches. 

Studios measure about 14 to 20m². Single or double occupancy are available. They have an equipped kitchenette, bathroom, air-conditioning, television and terrace or balcony. 

Your programme includes breakfast and lunch from Monday to Friday in the school restaurant.  

Accommodation is from the Sunday prior to the course start date until the Saturday after the end of the course (you can book extra-nights).

Note that for the standard rooms and studios, a deposit of 200€ is requested upon arrival. This deposit is refunded at the end of the stay minus the cost of any damage, repairs or cleaning.
