French Grinds with a Native French Speaker

At Up Abroad, we consider the practice of oral and aural skills to be the most effective method to learn a language. Therefore, our French tutor is a native French speaker to ensure an authentic accent and correct pronunciation.

Methodology

Leaving Cert Higher and Ordinary Level grinds for 5th and 6th Year students.

Our tutor’s lessons are tailored to student’s specific needs and interests whether that is oral french, aural, grammar, spellings, essays, etc …

Being a native French speaker assists students to develop an authentic french accent and correct pronounciation.

Our objective is to help our students to get the best possible result in their French Leaving Cert exam.

Our French tutor graduated from a French college and he completed his final year with the Erasmus programme in GMIT.

Our tutor has experience in online tutoring and significant knowledge of the Leaving Cert exam. He is currently giving french grinds to 6th year students.

• Interactive online grinds are delivered using Zoom
• 1-1 tuition only, group tuition is not available
• All of our grinds are personalised to suit the student’s specific learning requirements
• Homework is given and corrected on a weekly basis
• Notes and resources are shared with students

Grinds take place on a weekly basis and each grind is 1 hour long. Classes are arranged at mutually convenient times.

• 1-1 tuition is €20 per hour (payable in advance)
