Spanish Language School in Malaga

Learn Spanish in one of the most exciting cities in Spain – Málaga! The city has a special charm – it’s not called the “city of paradise” for no reason. Málaga is a melting point of cultures, and top-rate weather, welcoming inhabitants and a rich variety of food.

With thousands of years of history, the city is filled with interesting sites and stories to tell. You can find several museums to suit every taste, from the Carmen Thyssen Museum to the Pompidou Centre to the Russian Museum as well as Arabic monuments.

Malaga has some of the best weather of all European cities, with more than 300 sunny days each year.
Beaches all together, the city has 16 beaches stretching over 14 kilometers. You can get to all of them easily and find countless beach bars and restaurants there.
As well as the famous paella, tortilla or gazpacho, there are many more dishes to try. You can’t visit Málaga without trying some tapas, espetos (sardines), or fried fish.

Other nearby sites to visit include Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba, and Carmona Sitges. All are a great weekend day or overnight trips.

The School

Our partner school in Malaga is a center accredited by the Cervantes Institute, meaning that the highest quality of teaching is guaranteed. Our teachers receive continuous training so that they can take advantage of the latest teaching methods.

  • The school is located in a typical Andalusian whitewashed building, surrounded by terraces and gardens with views over the Mediterranean Sea.
  • We maintain small class sizes with a maximum of 8 students in a group which allows us to focus on each individual’s needs by providing a highly supportive environment in all areas of learning and personal development.
  • Our Spanish school in Malaga is located only 10 minutes walking distance from the historic centre and a 5 minute walk from the beach.

Programme

No matter your Spanish level, you can begin a program any Monday of the year. Students can study from 1 week to 1 year and take a variety of course types. Some of the most popular is the 20 and 30-hour intensive courses to increase Spanish knowledge as fast as possible.

Lessons can be held in the mornings or the afternoons, depending on your level and the time of year.  You can request a specific schedule and the school will do its best to accommodate.

Classes are taught 100% in Spanish and the teachers use the communicative method, meaning you learn grammar and rules by speaking and practicing rather than direct memorization.

The school also offers private lessons, mixed classes like Spanish cuisine, dancing, literature or how to play the guitar, and test preparation lessons (DELE course and SIELE course). Just get in touch for more details about alternative course options.

At our Spanish school in Malaga, there is always something interesting going on, both inside and outside the classroom. Each week, the school offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities so students can enjoy their free time and get to know the region. During the week we also offer trips and activities in Málaga, while on the weekends we take our students on trips to other cities in Andalusia. On the first day, there is a small welcome meeting with the other students at the school so that everyone knows each other. Also, a guided visit to Malaga city center takes place. During this visit, our expert guide provides cultural information as well as interesting facts about the most important museums and monuments in Malaga. Our guide will also give some practical advice to help you fin your way around the city.

The school is near many restaurants for lunch post-class and many sites to explore with your newly acquainted classmates. We provide lots of suggestions for things to do besides school activities.
